WE ZINC YOU’LL LIKE THIS
Architects are increasingly turning to zinc for its long, maintenance-free life, and design flexibility (from traditional to modern). Try To Catch Us, Copper
TRY TO CATCH US, COPPER
Copper is catching the eye of more and more architects. Its beauty is arresting, plus its long life and low maintenance are critical to commercial buildings. Copper is designed into a wide range of buildings and applications. Copper clad walls are a beautiful design element in both indoor and outdoor environments. Copper roofs can last decades, if not centuries (for example, the copper cornice around the dome at the Pantheon in Rome lasted more than 1,800 years).

You Don't Need A Coat
YOU DON’T NEED A COAT
There’s no need to cover up zinc and copper with paint or other protective topcoats. Natural zinc forms its own protective layer, called a patina, when it’s in contact over time with air and water, making zinc a low maintenance material. Copper also forms a patina, in a range of colors from iridescent brown to green verdigris to deep ebony, all coveted by architects for their beauty.
