January 18, 2013, Glenview, Ill.

The Metal Construction Association (MCA), an organization of manufacturers and suppliers whose metal wall and roofing components are used in buildings throughout North America, along with the Metal Roofing Alliance, will exhibit at Booth 1452 at the International Roofing Expo (IRE), February 5-7, 2013 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. Representatives from MCA along with the Metal Roofing Alliance will be on hand to answer questions.

MCA is a registered provider of AIA CES courses and a course listing will be available at booth 1452. Samples of MCA’s highly respected technical materials will also be offered. A complete list and description of MCA’s technical materials is also available at www.metalconstruction.org/pubs/.

Case studies from The Metal Initiative -- MCA’s marketing development program -- that feature the benefits of building with metal roofing components will be showcased at the booth and are also available for downloading at www.themetalinitiative.com.

The International Roofing Expo is an annual event for commercial and residential roofing professionals to stay abreast of market directions, trends and cutting-edge technology.

The Metal Construction Association brings together a diverse industry for the purpose of expanding the use of metal in construction through marketing, research and technology and education. Companies involved in MCA gain tremendous benefit from association activities that focus on research, codes and standards, market development, and technical programs.  Driving MCA’s market development efforts is The Metal Initiative (www.themetalinitiative.com), which is a program to increase the use of metal materials in construction through the education of the building and design communities about the benefits of metal.
